Satire Ha-HA!
Frankenstein is a driving force for satirizing humankind's superficial tendencies and expectations for their fellow creatures of the planet. The Being isn't accepted into society because of his external appearance, this shows the Hippocratic nature of mankind who is always stating it is a beings intelligence and morals/values that determine a persons position in life yet The Being is very intelligent and learns morals through watching the family in the cottage but he is shunned from the cottagers except the blind father.
Humanity fears the unknown, so when The Being is present it is immediately unwanted by anyone it come in contact with. For instance, when The Being describes how William's death came about he tell the scared child "educate him as my companion and friend, I should not be so desolate in this peopled earth...[he] does not intend to hurt {William]" (211). Even children such as William who are considered the most open minded humans on the planet fear the monster,
