Tragic Irony
Tragic Irony in Frankenstein come in at the very end of the novel when, The Being weeps over his creators death even though Victor hated the monster and The Being resented his father. This is ironic because Victor loathed The Being with all of his being and even more so for killing those he loved. However once Victor is dead The Being sees the wrongs of his actions and determines that to set it right as much as he can he must kill himself, which has been Victor's goal since the middle of the plot.
