Things are Getting Complicated
The literary definition of complications are the difficult circumstances that originate from a characters attempts to find a solution to their problem. The complications within Frankenstein include, The Beings horrific appearance and the monsters loneliness which causes him to murder Victor's loved one's for making him in such a deformed manner. From this perspective, it is Victor himself who creates the complications he is faced with by creating The Being and after reaching his goal of creating life in order to stop death for humankind he creates a monster that does everything to complicate Victor's life. An example of a complication is the fact that The Being is more intelligent (in some respect) than Victor because The Being was able to place evidence on Justine the circumstantial evidence that half-proved she murdered William, which burdened Victor with guilt and rage that clouds his judgement till his death in the last chapter.
